Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Footy Analyser website, applications and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Footy Analyser ("Footy Analyser", "we", "us" or "our") is a football analytics platform operated from Guernsey. These Terms form an agreement between you and Footy Analyser.
2. The Service
Footy Analyser provides football match analysis, statistics, league information and match outcome predictions generated by machine learning models. Parts of the Service are available free of charge; additional features may require a paid subscription (see section 5).
3. Predictions disclaimer — no betting advice
Predictions and analysis provided by the Service are statistical estimates generated by automated models. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Football is inherently unpredictable, and we make no guarantee, representation or warranty that any prediction, probability, statistic or analysis is accurate, complete or reliable, or that any predicted outcome will occur.
The Service is not gambling or betting advice, and nothing on the Service is an invitation or inducement to gamble. We are not a bookmaker and do not accept or place bets. If you choose to use any information from the Service in connection with betting or gambling, you do so entirely at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring gambling is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you are of legal age to participate. We accept no liability for any losses incurred through betting or gambling of any kind.
If you gamble, please gamble responsibly. Free, confidential support is available from organisations such as BeGambleAware.
4. Your account
Some features require an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. When registering you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
Authentication is provided through our identity provider (Auth0). Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans, their features, prices and billing periods are described on our website and at checkout. By purchasing a subscription you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.
- Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, your subscription renews automatically for a further period at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at renewal.
- Payment processing. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider through their secure hosted checkout. We do not store your full card details.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we may retry the charge and allow a short grace period. If payment cannot be collected, your paid access will lapse and your account will revert to the free tier.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes take effect from your next renewal, and we will give you reasonable advance notice so you can cancel first if you wish.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's subscription page. Cancellation stops the next renewal: you keep your paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the free tier. You can re-enable auto-renewal at any time before the period ends.
Except where required by applicable law, payments already made are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused features. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
7. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree that you will not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means, or access the Service using bots, scripts or other automated tools;
- resell, redistribute, republish or commercially exploit the Service's content, predictions or data without our prior written consent;
- reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the models, algorithms or source code underlying the Service;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, circumvent access controls or usage limits, or probe or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation;
- share your account or use another person's account without permission.
8. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, models, design, text, graphics, statistics, predictions and other content we create — is owned by or licensed to Footy Analyser and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
Football club names, badges, crests, competition names and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners. They are used on the Service solely to identify teams and competitions, and no affiliation with, or endorsement by, any club, league or governing body is implied.
9. Third-party services and content
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example for authentication, payment processing and sports data) and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may modify, suspend or withdraw features (or the whole Service) for maintenance, security or business reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of planned changes that materially affect paid features.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above:
- the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied;
- we are not liable for any losses arising from betting, gambling or other decisions made in reliance on predictions, statistics or other content of the Service;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data or loss of opportunity; and
- our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period (or £50 if you have not paid us anything).
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including any subscription) if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 3, 8, 11 and 14) continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice (for example by email or an in-Service notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service and may cancel any subscription as described in section 6.
14. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Island of Guernsey, and the courts of Guernsey have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections, and bring proceedings, under the laws of the country in which you live.
